Derek is attaching an ancher point to the roof in the centre of the awning so big winds don't blow the awning up due to an attached central webbing strap holding the awning down and anchered to the ground. This we felt was needed as our awning is 23ft long. We also have each end of the awning roller anched via webbing straps and two tent poles to support the roller either side of the middle.

The Blue strap is holding down the centre of the overall awning. Below you can see the tent pole set-up.

Under is the photo of the Red straps that are around the roller and anchered to the ground also. This set-up works very well for when those large bursts of strong winds blow in, and it is all too late to try rolling the awning in or you are away from your rig to do anything about it. ps Straps like these are better than rope, quick release, longer wearing and no tangles when setting up.

12v LED lighting through out your bus now complete.

We have finally done it. We have changed all our 24v bayonet internal old original bus lights to Waterproof BA15D Bayonet Base 15 SMD 3528 LED Bulb 12 Volt DC,Warm white, 1459WW. Why didn't we do this sooner? We now have no need for our 240v fluro lighting that is through out the bus. Best we start removing those large in-the-way ugly lights. At least now when we flick a switch, the light comes on instantly with out that 5 second flicker-to-life start-up. The 12v lighting is powered from our solar system. Free power
